These two sites have been added as copy sites to joomlocal.com. They are present in all plans where joomlocal.com is present. Configured plan ids include:

Number of keywords submitted to Georanker per hour reduced.

  • We were submitting around 49k keywords per hour earlier. It used to take 24 hours to complete submitting all keywords
  • We have reduced that to 15k per hour. So, it will now take around 2 to 3 days to complete submitting all keywords in our system.

📘 INFO We fetch rankings for keywords only once in a week. So, we are safe here.


We will generate the live links for Dwarika sites on Synup side itself every 6 hours.

  • Dwarika live links follow the same pattern of hyphenated business names followed by the s- separated by a slash after the domain.
  • This script will run every 6 hours to generate the live links for the listings that were created in the last 6 hours.


Iglobal submissions will now go through after new API key was updated.

  • IGlobal submissions were failing due to no payments.
  • We got the new API key after the payments were done. So, now listing submissions work properly for IGlobal listings.


Added a button to allow users to review Synup on G2 about their experience.

  • Under the dropdown that appears when you select the logged in user’s initials on top right, you will see a ‘Review Us’ CTA.
  • That triggers a pop up from G2 to allow users to review our product directly on G2.


We added support for sending Review Acquisition SMS campaigns to Belgium phone numbers.

  • With this build, we will now be able to send SMSes to Belgium phone numbers that belong to Belgium locations in Synup.
  • We use Twilio to send the SMS.

📘 INFO Sending SMS to Belgium country has been enabled in Twilio. But, through Twilio, we need to register for a number or an alphanumeric number using which our SMSes will be sent. This is a regulation provided by the country which we need to complete as a process.


Added scripts in v2app sign up flow for tracking Quora and Reddit leads.

  • We added code snippets in V2app Synup Free Trial Signup workflow to track Quora and Reddit leads.
  • Snippets were provided by Marketing team.

📘 INFO Control of the accounts is with the Marketing team.


Support for creating locations of Belgium Country added.

  • We will now be able to add locations from Belgium country within Synup.
  • Belgium is a country without states. So, that has been made possible with this build.
  • 20 sites will be supported for this country and the listings will be created.

We will now show the business logo and name in the header for static campaigns when top rating is selected.

  • When a top rating is selected in static campaign, the UI did not display the business name and logo of the location. We will now be showing it similar to the flow of SMS and Email Landing pages.


Along with Twitter Direct integration, we now have support for Twitter threads for longer tweets.

  • A tweet with more than 280 characters will now be divided into multiple linked tweets that will look like a thread.
  • If there are two parts then the first tweet will have this (1/2) and the second tweet will have (2/2) to determine which part of the tweet it is.
  • Also, the second tweet will come as a reply to the first tweet.

📘 INFO We had implemented the direct integration for Twitter through our app, but like Aryshare, we did not have support for threads. So, Twitter direct was not released till we implemented this in Social.
